About This Special Issue
Special education is one of the studies that we hear more frequently in academic studies today. The reason for this is that the number of children with special needs is increasing day by day compared to the past. For this reason, all kinds of scientific or academic studies are very valuable for these children who start life from one zero behind. When the literature is examined, the first thing that stands out is that academic studies for special education or individuals with special needs are insufficient. however, conducting more academic studies in the field of special education and testing interdisciplinary studies will significantly contribute to the education life of these children.
The purpose of this special issue is to increase the number and quality of both in-field and interdisciplinary research on the education of children with special needs. It is an undeniable fact that studies on children with special needs in many fields, especially fine arts, have increased recently. These studies appear as highly supportive, refreshing and stimulating studies for special education, which is more suitable for interdisciplinary research.
